N00b Fan Person Question real quick

Hey im gettin an x-dreamer case as u may have read in my other posts...it comes with 350 w power supply.....id like to get a nice slk-800 w/ smart fan 2 and about 2 or 3 other case fans.....where do u plug fans into? motherboard? power supply? if so where? ive never installed a fan be4 i was j/w how many a 350w power supply would support....thanks]


o yea 1 more thing....r u supposed to have intakes in the front and exhausts in the back or visa versa? the case comes with an exhaust installed on top and on the side....i was gunna put 1 or 2 fans in the back and front too.....maybe this is unncecesary...i want it to look cool AND cool lol thanks

1 more thing...kinda off topic in this forum but i got an a7m266 asus MB....rite now i can adjust fsb thru my bios on my 1800+ chip but the mulitplier setting is greyed out on 11.5....would it still be greyed out if i got a 2500+ barton and if so how can i change this? cuase i want to research overclocking and even thou i dont no much about it yet, I heard that u gotta change ur multiplier and voltage well u all no more than me lol dont worry ill learn be4 goin in there and screwin things up im not that dum lol i just wanna no if i gotta go invest in a new MB

Intake in front and side, exhaust in the rear and top. Don't have a Smart Fan II draw power from your motherboard, it pulls waaaay too much amperage. If a fan draws more than 2 watts, power it from your power supply using a 3-pin-to-4-pin adapter (sold anywhere you can buy fans from, just about).

Power supplies vary. Is all motor oil the same? No. KMart oil is not Mobil 1, and 350W generic power supplies... you get the idea.

It would be helpful if you spell and punctuate a little better... just a tip to help you get more replies to your questions :D
