n00b at digicams..help me out!!

Hey ppl!
Ii have $80-100 for a digicam..i know dat wont get me much of a "digicam"..i'm looking at more of those 3-in1 types,u know,d webcam cum parttime digicam stuff..i have seen many of those with 1.3-2.1MP in this range...
i'm goin to Malaysia,Kuala Lumpur where their be a sh!tload of local brands..

i've seen 2 online they are Benq DC1300 and the "V-Ranger 4130"

all i know is d Benq comes with a CMOS sensor whereas the V thingy comes with CCD..
wats d difference??..

is CMOS better or is CCD king??
all i know is the more the MP the better the cam..!

will shutter speed and all dat make a difference??..i want it mainly for computer usage,web-posting..nuthin more..not of thinkin of printing anything!!

Charged coupled device in my opinion. In any rate, what you spend is what you get. If on a tight buget, I would demo some cameras and get the one I liked best. Also, before I made any decision, I would go online and check the reviews on the camera. I use Epinions.com before I buy anything.
 
I bought a Cintar Argus 2.1 MP DC3515 cameras at Office Depot for $80 when they were on sale and like it.
One of E-bay
Doesn't have a bunch of fancy features but it has all the important ones. The pictures aren't perfect but its more than good enough for posting crap on the web which is what I bought it for. I haven't bothered to play with it much but it does work as a webcam.
Pics I took at a junkyard with it so you can see how it works. I took those at 800x600 fine and shrunk them down to 640x480 for web posting.
 
why would you like a digicam within your DOLLAR price range if you're not gonna buy it here? Ross man offered you a nice deal but you turned it down and say, "you stay in India"! Do you know how studpid you sound? Why not buy a digicam where you are?
