Yeah it's pretty awful if you think about it at all. Her entire life has been flushed down the toilet in EPIC FAIL fashion, and it's all because of him.

I don't mean it to cut her down with references of a settlement etc...fact is some relationships don't get beyond this. We don't know if this is the first time he 'ventured' outside his marriage as well. Chances are its not imo, if he's willing to risk his whole career on a ho.

I'm sure she's a strong family woman and I don't think it reflects bad on her, just that if they split, she's going to be very financially comfortable, which will certainly help her get on with her life. She's not ugly by any stretch either, so starting again with some well-to-do socialite of some sort is pretty imaginable.

It is more likely to happen than not to happen. I give it a 90% chance of ending in divorce. The reason is this was not a one time affair, but a pattern. She would be stupid to forgive and forget in this situation. Looking at her credentials, I doubt she is stupid enough to stick it out with the slimeball.

Sex addiction therapy is rarely successful any how. Sex addiction is no excuse for violating your vows.

ppl do one of 2 things after discovering their s/o have drifted, they remain in the relationship for whatever reason (could be $$, convenience, raising children in an intact environment, unwillingness/fear of starting over, aspirations like in Hillary's case, etc etc) or they separate/divorce.
