Anyone see his resignation speech? His wife looked awful... like someone who hasn't got any sleep and had been crying a lot. Yeh, I'm sure that is the case. She had huuuuuuuge bags under eyes and a frown on her face. I feel bad for her.
Yeah it's pretty awful if you think about it at all. Her entire life has been flushed down the toilet in EPIC FAIL fashion, and it's all because of him.
Her 'entire life'?? Let's not get too dramatic about it...people go thru harder sh!t than this and move beyond it.
For politicos, it is their entire life.
She'll fall in love with some other rich sugar daddy, get 1/2 his wealth to accompany 1/2 spitzer's wealth, assuming they split when the dust eventually settles. Spitzer's ambitious career was destroyed, but hilary got beyond it, so will she.
would it be so far fetched to think she loved her husband and is crushed by this revelation? that she is standing by him because she hasn't stopped loving him?
time will tell.
I don't mean it to cut her down with references of a settlement etc...fact is some relationships don't get beyond this. We don't know if this is the first time he 'ventured' outside his marriage as well. Chances are its not imo, if he's willing to risk his whole career on a ho.
I'm sure she's a strong family woman and I don't think it reflects bad on her, just that if they split, she's going to be very financially comfortable, which will certainly help her get on with her life. She's not ugly by any stretch either, so starting again with some well-to-do socialite of some sort is pretty imaginable.
