Thats funny, I experimented with the shopping cart and clicked "validate" and it worked. I didnt order it though so maybe thats when it gets killed.

Validate just tests to see whether the coupon is valid (expiration, legit). When you click check out, it'll bust out with something along the lines of the coupon not being applicable because the amount in your cart is only $0.00 when it should be at least $100. Thus the coupon's not useable for the hard drive.

Don't forget, sometimes you can call on an order of tech stuff and get the person on the phone to apply it. I did this for a linksys WRT54G wireless router. My final cost is going to be like $40 for it because of a $20 coupon they applied and a rebate in addition to a sale. I called about 4 times but someone finally did it.
