N E 1 know how to uninstall DX8 from Win 2K?

I am running a T-Bird with a KT7 pro2...DirectX 8 has killed my D3D performance if not the entire game itself..Can this be done???????

Go to www.tech-report.com They had a link to an uninstall utility.

Went there found DX Unistaller...No good for Win 2K..

The other DX BUSTER.....said not tested with 2K but I tried anyway to no avail..

On Microsoft's site it says that you CANNOT uninstall Direct X 8.0.

mrhair, I believe you are right. I've always known that once you upgrade DX, it can't be "downgraded", since it is an integral part o the OS.
