MyTouch 3G Slide vs. HD2

What do you guys think? I need to pick up a phone to unlock and use in China for 2 months. The HD2 is far superior hardware, but Windows Mobile 6.5 is bleh. The MyTouch 3G runs android and is supposed to be pretty nice. I don't really care about the hardware keyboard, and I'm eligible for upgrades on my T-Mobile account so I'm getting them reasonably cheap.
