In our last podcast, my co-host Chris talked a bit about Mythos. Apparntely the game was developed in preparation for Hellgate, and was used as a testbed for gameplay elements and network infrastructure testing. Turns out that the game is building a little bit of excitment and is now being built for a separate release. The game will not be sold in stores, but will be available for digital download and will be FREE! There will apparently be items and stuff you can purchase in the game that will help fuel the future development of the game.

I'm wondering if anyone else in the beta? I jsut got my invite, so I cannot speak of the game personally (yet!). But I do plan on installing it tonight or tomorrow and digging in. Beta signups can be found at the mythos website.

Damnit! I keep doing this. I think it's because, in my mind, there shouldnt be a separation from PC gaming and Console gaming. There should just be a gaming forum and the console forum has the most activity.

yes and in that thread I asked for an invite!!! i wanna play this as I loved Diablo and currently playing Titan Quest IT until this becomes available to me.

I played it for awhile and it was very addicted.

I have to agree on the #1 diablo clone since diablo.
