Never did try warhammer but started my MMO adventure with DAoC. Shame to read this as I always liked Mythic during my time there.

I now reside with FFXI after a 4 year absence.

I bought 13 months of play during the amazon sale for like $55; have no problem waiting until they've got things sorted out before starting :)

There is only one WoW.

Most MMOGs peak at less than 500k subs.

Hell Asheron's Call peaked at less than 250k subs. Turbine is probably best funded independent mmog studio around. Every year it seems they are getting $30-50million from this investor or that investor.

And to that point EA Mythic is still making money on Ultima Online.

EA needs to pull its head out of its ass. Hire comptent developers and recreate Ultima Online.

I renewed my WoW account for the new stuff coming up in 3.1. It's just way too hard to beat this MMO in the market.

WAR could have had it, the good PVP game is there. They just released WAY to early, and somewhere along the line their vision was lost it was most a PVE game end game, and even then the progression was horrible and grossly broken game mechanics and exploits

Course these were all complaints voiced by the many concerned on the forums [non official mind you since they didn't have any, which they now went back on] but we were told to L2P newb

So I reactivated my account with the free 10 day trial. Honestly, the game is very much improved since I quit about a month after launch. Classes are more balanced, lag is mostly gone, and new RVR features make it easier to participate and more rewarding.

Not sure if I'm going to stick with it after the trial ends, but I had fun this weekend at least.
