Now I wish I owned a TV.
Wouldn't mind going back through a bunch of the old episodes.

Total number of myths: 1,015 myths (548 busted, 251 confirmed, 216 plausible)
After I posted that it occurred to me that there might actually be stats on that and if so, someone on ATOT would know them.

You have not disappointed me.

I used to watch this during the early seasons.

At some point, the guy with the mustache and French hat started to get on my nerves... Not his personality, the hate and mustache specifically.

Man, the finale of that show was disappointing for me. I liked watching that show to learn something, not just to watch them blow shit up.

I'll go ahead and say it: That show is garbage and they don't respect the scientific method as much as they do showing explosions for ratings.

Yup. When they were using physics to collapse that train tanker, that was impressive as hell. Thermodynamics were used as well. Most 'sciencey' MB I have seen in a while.

Sucks the show is ending though, it's one of few "real life" sciency shows left where they do experiments and see what happens, and explain it. Hopefully something similar takes it's place. I think in the past years it was going downhill though, like it was more about the ratings than anything. I guess after a while you just run out of steam though. There's only so many myths they can do.

?

Watch the how it's made on the often.

That's Discovery. There's also Discovery Science which is another channel that is often not part of normal cable. Heck even if you get Discovery it does not come with Science.

Though now that we have "a la carte" I wonder how that works, if it's done right you should be able to get any channel you want at a set price... I don't think that's how it works though.

Disappointing series finale. Blowing up a truck just for the fun of it, what myth was busted? Not sure how accurate the results of some of their "scientific" test are.
I wonder if there are any remaining myths they haven't busted.

I enjoyed it. It was the final episode; a chance to celebrate the show. Every long-running show needs its Window of Opportunity or Wormhole X-Treme.
