I saw this showing on Discovery and thought it was funny as hell that a photo copy of the finger print worked.

What a POS, no way is that thing as "advanced" as the company claimed.

Seems they didn't even test it before releasing it.

Well, there's one advertizing claim that got shot down in flames.

Reminds me of a part in Disgaea 2.
"We're invincible! Nobody has ever beaten us!"
*you whoop thier asses*
"You're not invincible"
"That was our debut match, now we will go off and talk about the one fighter to defeat us!"

Yeah, that was pretty funny. The only thing I can think is that the company's claim refers to the keypad lock + fingerprint scanner, not just the scanner.

Probably a bogus claim. Someone should analyze the circuitry. It's probably as legit as that killer nic thing that came out. :Q

God I can't wait to play that game once I come home. I can't believe the photocopy worked. I should remember this so then I don't have to cut off the other person's hand. Much tidier.

The real scopes have a ball that moves in a bowtie pattern that you're supposed to follow with your eyes. If someone attacked the authorized person with a fork and removed their eyeballs they would not be able to pass the test.

There's no what the eye ball would be intact like it was in that Movie.
Eyes don't come out of the socket that easy or cleanly.
