I would imagine that they have some serious insurance for the show considering how much money it has made the discovery channel. They probably have a insurance policy for something like this in the 8 digits.

do you really think the crew and discovery would shoot a fricken cannon ball into a neighborhood through somebodys house and into a minivan on purpose for publicity?

what publicity do they need? the show is still very popular.
