I'm not familiar with it, but looking over the site, I'd just install MythUbuntu unless you want the desktop stuff too. That would take up a bunch of space if you didn't need it.
If you select "New Install" you get a bootable install ISO that installs ubuntu and the Myth software. If you select "Add to Ubuntu" you get a walthrough to do exactly that.
