Myst IV: Revelation

Last Myst game I played was Exile and Riven, never played the original...

Anyone here played Revelations? Or End of Ages, or the most recent one?

I figured I might as well change the subject since this forum is solely on MMORPG or FPS 😉

I played Revelations for a bit then lost my patience and sold the game. I recently finished Sam & Max Season 1. It was pretty good and for $30 it's totally worth it. I really missed those good O' Sierra adventure games.

I beat Myst and loved it. Riven was a confusing mess, I remember playing for like 10 hours straight and getting nowhere. 5 cds was just ridiculous. I never got into any of the other ones that came out afterwards. My Dad seemed to enjoy them.

I'd love to see some new adventure games come out. I couldn't get enough of them back in the day.

I have all five games. Myst was difficult but rewarding, Riven was insanely difficult (I resorted to UHS Hints on that one) and Exile was a near perfect level of challenge/frustration.

I played Revelation for a while and enjoyed it, but I'm stuck on the coloured light puzzle. I'll go back and attempt it again soon. I want to finish this one before I go on to End of Ages.

In terms of immersing yourself in an incredible virtual world, relaxing and exploring, you just can't beat the Myst series. For pure adventure games though, I quite enjoyed Syberia I and II, Longest Journey and Grim Fandango. I still want to play Dreamfall.

These games were always so boring to me. Maybe I never gave them a chance. I think I've still got Uru:Ages Beyond Myst full OEM game in my desk. First Myst fan to PM me can have it for shipping. Say $ 4 bucks?....

I played Revelations. I never beat it. A lot of the puzzles were really out there and not intuitive. Beautiful game, though.

now you guys are talking about Myst I have orignal Myst but will it work on either XP and Vista?
