MySQL Database loads too slow, please help!

Is there any method to make MySWL database load faster than normal?

My work-PC is limited to 56 Kbps and it sux. The web actually runs quite fast but when time comes to make changes in the databases, everything starts to suck.

Please help, im confused.

not sure what you are trying to do. If you are just sending SQL commands via command line, it should go fast over 56k really. Only text after all. If the dbase server has Apache/PHP on it, try setting that up with PHPMyAdmin as a GUI interface.

whats the server its hosted on? How big are the tables? Need more info. HOw are you administratoring it?
