MySpace to buy Photobucket

Well Photobucket is screwed when it goes to the MySpace servers.... it'll be down 75% of the time.

🙁

I've used photobucket for a very long time and have been very happy with the service. I'm not bothered about the take over so long as nothing changes.

Random question, but where do Myspace and Facebook/photobucket/imageshack and all those sites get money from?

I've been using them since August of 2004. I actually use their pay service ($25 a year) to host over a couple thousand images for eBay auctions.

I could have found hosting for cheaper over the years, but their service has been excellent and I don't mind paying for quality service (and hardly any downtime).

That article got me thinking about offering free image hosting with ads. So far I'm earning around $3 - $10 per day, depending on the traffic and if it gets linked to any major sites.

I won't post a link since I allow *ahem* mature content *ahem*.

Free image gallery + web hosting + ads = WINNAR

You should join us in Ventrilo sometime where we like to discuss $$$

Oh no oh no oh no oh no

I have SO many photos on Photobucket it would be one PITA to transfer all of them. And I like how Photobucket works right now. I hope it doesn't change too much 🙁
