myspace question

code to hide your friendslist:

<style type="text/css">
td.text td.text table table table, td.text td.text table .orangetext15, td.text td.text .redlink, td.text td.text span.btext {display:none;}
td.text td.text table td, td.text td.text table {height:0;padding:0;border:0;}
td.text td.text table {background-color:transparent!important}
td.text td.text table table td{padding:3;}
</style>

people can still view your friends list by going to its actual address, but this will hide your friends list on your profile. you paste it in the "who i'd like to meet" section. this was from mygen.co.uk btw

if you don't people looking at your friends, you don't want people that aren't already your friends looking at your profile. just change your age (somewhere in the preferences) to either 14 or 15 years old. 14 and 15 year old profiles are automatically blocked from being viewed by people who aren't their friends.

now if you're trying to block your friends from looking at your friends list, i would go with what wtfbbq said. i haven't tried it so i don't know if it works but i'm guessing it does.

one last thing...who in their right mind goes on AT to ask a myspace question??

<style type="text/css">
td.text td.text table table table, td.text td.text table .orangetext15, td.text td.text .redlink, td.text td.text span.btext {display:none;}
td.text td.text table td, td.text td.text table {height:0;padding:0;border:0;}
td.text td.text table {background-color:transparent!important}
td.text td.text table table td{padding:3;}
</style>

Thanks for the code: works like a charm 🙂

IMO this gets back to the age-old question: what's the point of having a "friends list" if 98% of the people are complete strangers to you? If you really need this type of solution, I'd think that should tell you something about the contents of the list. 🙂

Every single one of my MySpace friends is someone who I've met IRL at least once. Makes it a lot more manageable and focused.

Can I be on your friends list?
