MySpace and Facebook

I guess they have some redeeming qualities.

I found a few friends I haven't seen for years.

The one friend I found through his sister on Facebook. He is living with another friend from HS and he just married a girl we talked a lot with in HS. She was in a lot of the same classes.

The other friend I found through Myspace. I saw him once a few years after HS but its been at least 7 or 8 years since then. He's going to college in Ohio.

Its pretty cool to talk to these people again. It would be nice to be able to hang out again. Although the 1st friends I talked about live in Hershey which is probably an hour or more away. The guy in OH might be harder to see though.

Facebook is awesome for meeting your peers and for staying in contact with those who you used to know.

But the one thing I hate about facebook is that people who I wasn't friends with in high school keep requesting me to add them to their friends list. The optimistic side of me thinks maybejust want to become friends. The more realistic side of me thinks they just want to inflate their friends list. Currently the realistic side is winning, and I have yet to confirm a number of people.
