Does anybody else find it ridiculous that guitar tab sites are being closed down?
The musicians aren't complaining about tabs being freely distributed. (at least none that I've heard about) This move surely isn't going to make me run out and buy tab books more often now. 99% of the bands I like and listen to don't have official tab books that you can even buy anyways. And I don't think that I have ever seen an official tab book that didn't have errors in it forcing me to either find tab on the internet for a certain part or figure it out myself. (which kind of defeats the purpose of putting cash into the book)

Isn't their something that can be done about this? The RIAA did this right? Why are tabs from European bands removed as well?

harmony-central has been fighting this battle forever, and they're still around.

That's the biggest load of BS. It's like the newspapers trying to shut down online news sites.
