Is anyone familiar with mylar sleeves for the protection of books/comic books/art, etc?
I just got a set of current sized (7"x10.5") 4 mil mylar sleeves to protect some comics I have.
I also ordered some backing boards that are 6 and 5/8" x 10.5".
I can't get the comic and board in the sleeve at the same time without bending the comic.
the comics are about 1/8" wider than the board but still able to fit the sleeve.
The comic by itself fits perfectly. My main question is are these sleeves meant to be used without the backing boards? Will my comics be safe withou the board?
