They've got metallized mylar on their site for a very reasonable price and they claim it can reflect light quite well. I was under the impression that mylar works to not only reflect light but heat pretty damn well. However, on the site, they've also got this "Block-IR" product which claims to Infrared. Problem is, this stuff is much more expensive so I'm wondering what I should choose. Maybe the reason they have the Block-IR product is for situations where you need to block infrared that is very high energy like reflecting the heat of an exhaust manifold opposed to like a a space heater or something...

I saw my dad put some up during the winter time so it makes me an expert on it. The Mylar is better. I don't care what numbers say or scientists who invented and work with the stuff say but because I saw my dad do it in the winter time it makes me an expert on it even though I've never touched the stuff or tried it out myself. I'm still in high school but know better than every scientist and professional in the world.

Strapping this to your car is not going to keep you from getting speeding tickets. It will however get it to show up on ATC radar. Better get a transponder for that thing sot hey don't shoot you down.

this is a common myth, you cannot just cover the top of your head because the alien broadcasts can still get into your brain from your eyeballs, nose, ears, and mouth. not to mention it can still easily penetrate the bottom of your skull around the base of the neck, especially when they fly by overhead. block-IR is probably the best stuff, but to use it properly you must completely wrap your head and shoulders in it. use zip ties to secure it around the neck and shoulders, make sure to pull the ties as tight as possible, as any spaces will reduce the overall effectiveness of the block-IR.

The best technique to foil psychics (both terrestrial and non terrestrial) is learn to use the un-used mental capacity to generate noise of useless thoughts. To the snooper it would appear similar to tuning in to a station with lots of interference making the program nearly impossible to hear. This is the only way to be sure nobody can read what's important.

LIDAR was mentioned and to make the target as low profile as possible requires the LEAST amount of reflection at 850-1200 nm as possible! ;)
