I own one of these drives (for my oldest son's new Ryzen build) and it's a fantastic drive for the money.
Anandtech is using Amazon's price to calculate the $/per GB, but it's cheaper directly through MyDigitalSSD's storefront (512 GB version $148.05).

It's true that SATA SSD prices are falling, but I think it offers enough performance over them for many people finally make the leap to a NVMe drive for a small price difference.

That's awesome, I have had great experience with their SATA drives (not a single failure in service). Definitely will consider them for builds, thanks guys!

I will consider them after I read the review. Are their SSD considered to be good?

OK I read the review and I think I will stick with SATA SSDs at this point as I don't need NVMe at this moment and if I did then I would choose a higher end product.

With the major decrease in performance of TLD drives below 512GB, I can't blame manufacturers for starting to drop NCMe SSDs at lower sizes.
