(BIG IMAGES)

Hey all! Got this monitor about a year and a half ago. Pixel perfect and great image. Been happy with it so far. But I recently moved and I left the monitor unused for about 2 months (laptop covered all the work). I finally got around to turning it on and....

Everything, including images is very pixelated? I don't know how ot decribe it. So I swapped it out to make sure that the cable/vid card were ok. And they seem to be.....

What seems to be the issue here? I don't have another video card to check at the moment but the same cable and video card are running the other monitor fine.:\

Any help would be appreicated.

Are you running this from DVI/HDMI?

Screen pic says DVI.

It persists after a power cycle, I assume? I've two of the ShiMians myself, similar monitor. Haven't seen an effect like that either.

Does it do it whether or not its the solo monitor?

Worth a shot....
Try unplugging the power to the Catleap for about 10min.

We lost power in our home a few days ago.
And when we got power back and i powered on my pc, my Catleap wouldn't show an image.
You could tell the backlight was working as the screen brightened and the pc booted / acted normally all the way to windows.

Long story short, after swapping cables , video cards and trying another monitor, it wasn't until i tried just unplugging the Catleap's power brick for a few minutes that it finally returned to normal.

Power brick has been unplugged for 3 days now. I have another DVI-D cable on the way to see if maybe that might fix the problem. I have a single monitor setup.

Great. The new cable fixed the problem, and I still have the new 27" monitor en route to me. :hmm:
