It displays your Gamer Card (with such things as Gaming Acheivements, Gamerscore, Favorite Games, Consoles Owned, etc...). Also, you can get into your friends list, account management, etc.

Unforunately, I've had two different Live accounts on 2 seperate occassions. I wonder if they'll release my old name so I can use it again?
