My X2 CPU core temps are way off, and I know all of them are like this

I was stress testing my CPU to see if it could handle 1.325 voltage, and then I noticed the usual ridiculous temp readings. Something like 43ºC in Core 0 and 61ºC in Core 1.

But here's my question: Are both cores actually at that temperature, or the readings are just wrong? This is an old Socket 939 X2 by the way. Because of effectively one of the cores is reaching over 60ºC, that's pretty bad... my rig does have decent cooling, and a decent case. That, and the ambient temperature here is lowish, like 65ºF.

This AMD spec says "The accuracy of the temperature sensor, typically ±1 C to 5 C, must be considered when setting thermal trip points.". I'm not sure what "typically" means.

I'm not speaking for any companies.

What kind of motherboard do you have? In my experience, MSI's older boards aren't too accurate.
