I don't have a source hooked up to it yet but my brother wants to borrow my computer in a few days to record a football game via S-Video. I've checked the Catalyst Control Center and saw the VIVO tab but no where do I see an option or a program to actually record. Do I need a singal to be sent into the card before I can use this feature (that would seem stupid)?

You need some software to capture the stream. Nero will capture VIVO video streams, as will the free PVR software GBPVR.

You will need the cable that came with the card that plugs into the S-Video looking port on the back of the card. The cable should have S-Video In/Out and RCA Video In/out
