I'll get pics tomorrow... earlier this year I bought a wrecked Yami R6 raven for $700

Anyway after a whole bunch of new parts (engine covers, forks, triples, fairings etc) I got the bike in one piece. Last week I put on a new lower triple that made the steering straight again and today i finally had some time to mess with it. After I pumped up the tires and fixed brake lines (off of R1) and reservoir I took a test ride... it rides great! No shakes, no wandering steering, it's totally steady :)

Too bad it's already dark out, I'd snap some pics right now.

'05 Raven edition?

Did you get a rebuilt title or are you sticking with salvage?

what year? and how much to fix? it's a nice bike but right now you can steal motorcycles due to this market (and jetski's, boats, etc).

Yeah 2005 Raven. It's a salvage title, so i'm gonna have to have it inspected and get rebuilt title.
I have maybe another $1K or so in parts at this point, maybe little less.

I think what you're seeing is just the dust from the driveway, not actual wear in those pictures

18 year old kid, him or one of his friends lost an ear on it when he slid it at 45mph w/o a helmet. The rear tire is pretty much squared off, i don't think he knew how to ride at all. Here's my old gixxer, that's what it's supposed to look like[/url]. One more for my

The front tire is shot, i think one of the people after the wreck was using it as a stunt bike. Endos go though rubber like no other.

I've been able to get the crappy stock Dunlops on my SV650 down to within about 1/2cm of the edge but haven't leaned it over any further yet. My next set of tires will be Michelin Pilot Power 2CT.

I don't hold onto sport bikes for too long.
