My work study at my school shorted me on my paycheck, and are putting the blame on me!

So i have these timesheets that i'm supposed to turn into my school for work study. They are generally sealed inside an envelope with the supervisor's signature across the back. I had two envelopes because i worked at two job sites. Anyways, i deposited them into the mail drop, which is where one is supposed to place work study time sheet envelopes.

A month later i find out i only got paid for one of the timesheets. THEY LOST THE OTHER FSKING ENVELOPE WITH THE TIME SHEET IN IT! Now i'm supposed to find my supervisor (how in the fsking hell am i supposed to do that, it's summer break!) and have her fax a copy of the timesheet with a reason why "I LOST IT" BLASFSCKINGMY!!!

Is there anything i could possibly do? Of all people, i NEEDED that money, so i would not have left it out of that mail drop box. But, they are putting the blame on me!

sorry, I don't know what you can do now other than talking to your supervisor when summer's over.
i guess next time you better photocopy your time sheet before handing them in....

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, by the time fall quarter starts, all of this will be cleared, so i won't get my cash 🙁

Do you have your supervisor's e-mail address or phone number at the school? Just because it's the summer doesn't necessarily mean that your supervisor won't be there.

Well, her school is closed for summer. And so that means she wouldnt be checking her school email. But, she did have a cell phone which i didnt have the chance to get 🙁

Yep, tried searching, but i have to wait a bit before i call. I'm currently roaming and it costs 79 cents a freakin minute.

But, i found out my work study school site reopens on august 9, so that should give me about a month's window before everything gets tossed.
