she has a real big problem with doing laundry in an intelligent manner. she like to load the washer willy-nilly. she thinks that as long as the laundry comes out clean she can shove in as much laundry as possible and not worry about the load balance.

rewind to two years ago. i come home to the washer slamming up against the dryer, the wall, and making a wonderful grinding noise. the load was unbalanced with most of the clothes on one side of the basket. i fix the problem and tell her that if she keeps doing that it will break the washer.

so i just got a call from her stating the the washer won't go into a spin cycle anymore.

her: "do you know what could cause this?"
me: "i'm guessing that it was from an unbalanced load"
her: "NO WAY, IT WAS ONLY THE SHEETS AND COMFORTER. THERE IS NO WAY AN 'UNBALANCED LOAD' COULD DO THAT."

The shead! The shead! It says right there. Looks like you aren't the sharpest one there either, Mikey.

My wife is a nazi about washing machine load contents - she has very specific criteria on which clothes can be mixed, cycles, etc. Fortunately she usually takes care of it herself.
