My Wireless Network Connection application freezes

My "Wireless Network Connection" application freezes or locks up.

I bought this Microsoft Wireless USB adapter MN-510 2 weeks ago. For the first week it was a dream. I could stay connected 48 hours Now it drops the connection and the application freezes. The only way I can reconnect to the net is to reboot. I cannot "disable" my connection using the Wireless Network Connection.Rebooting is my only answer

The freezes happen at random, only the Wireless Network Connection application is affected, not my browser or WMP or winamp.......I listen to internet radio.

I bought a USB hub. I connected the USB Wireless adapter to it. The problem for now went away.
Maybe the adapter was drawing to much power. I did have it connected, and a USB mouse and keyboard. Who knows
