So, around the 10th of September, I went to this kiosk in one our local malls for a phone upgrade. I wasn't planning on doing it, but he mentioned that with T-Mo you get a new phone every 11 months for free. I had gone to one other place who said I didn't qualify so I figured I'd bite and check it out.

So, we qualified for a bunch of options. I opted for the free one (Siemens CF62T). We have 2 lines on a family plan, and since doing the upgrade committed me to an additional year, I went ahead and did both phones knowing I wouldn't even be using it anytime soon.

After he took a look at our account further, he threw in, "also, you qualify for an additional 100 minutes per month". I thought great, as we could use it for sure.

Left, happy with the replacement phone for me, and spare/backup phone for the wife.

Fast forward 7 weeks, and we received our T-Mo bill. No 100 minutes, and we have a nice $33.xx airtime charges from the 78 minutes we went over our plan (400 min).

We call Mobile Solutions. They say, "sorry, we can't discuss over the phone. you'll need to come in."

I go in, "oh yes, I remember. We'll call tonight, as t-mo's wait time is 30+ min. then we'll call you back." (no call back of course)

Call again, "Yes, I know the guy who helped you, he's at our other kiosk. I'll run over there and have him call you right now." (no call back)

Wife calls again, "I checked, the promo is no longer available."

My wife asks for his name, he says, "no, sorry i'm not going to give that to you".

Wife hangs up. Checks the caller ID. He called us back from his Cell phone!
