Anyone please got a suggestion.
I downloaded Sun CD/DVD Burner Software from Download.com.
It sounded like a good program with lots of good reviews. Well it installed olot of adware/malware. I allowed the windows adware removal tool (Cant think of name of it at this moment, its pretty new though and by M$) to remove those programs.
Well to make a long story short as soon as I did that I lost my internet. The connection is still there, the signal is still fine but I cant go anywhere. Its my understand that this is whats called a browser hijack. I have tried reinstalling the software and allowing all the crappy adware to be installed as well. But again no luck.
Now everything worked perfect before hand. I mean 1 second before hand I had no problems. I have read of other people having problems with losing their internet and this program so I am not the only one.
My question is, and please someone have a answer other than format, what can I do to get my internet back? Reinstall winsock? Use a certain scanner?
Please someone give me some advice as at the moment I am stuck. :/
