hey, I'm running Win98se. And I'm not sure when this started happening, or if it's always happened. But for some reason when I open up my windows explorer, and I click one folder on the left, if I click on another folder. It'll select that folder, BUT then it'll RE-select the folder I was just on and then go to the new one. This is hard to describe so here's an example. (note: Y is a sub-dir. of X)

C:\
-FolderX
. +[FolderY]
+FolderZ

I click on Y, so it's selected in blue (denoted by "[ ]").
Then I click the "-" on FolderX to collapse it all...

C:\
+[FolderX]
+FolderZ

I then click on folderZ

C:\
+X
+[Z]

But here is where the weird part happens. and this happens really fast. Right as I click on Z, Y is reselected, then Z is selected again.

C:\
-X
. +[Y]
+Z
-------------
C:\
-X
. +Y
+[Z]

so the end result is that the folder I just collapsed is re-opened and it's ANNOYING!!! especially if I'm collapsing a large folder like program files or windows. Does this happen to anyone else!?!? HELP! :(
