Man you guys are way too critical. So there are V8 Mustangs, which are obviously faster, but there's nothing at all wrong with a V6. It's a nice car...and certainly great for free...and can go reasonably fast. Plus it's a 'vert and those rule in the summer...😉

And OMG....the only thing a 4 cyl Honda Accord can beat is maybe another crappy riced-out Honda. Uggh. Not to mention that Accords aren't half as stylish as a Mustang is...

The new K24 accords can break into 15s in manual, 0-60 in mid 7s. That's every bit as fast as a V6 mustang, if not faster.

I've still got a hard time believing this is gonna happen. I realize the V6 Mustang is no speed demon, but it's no slowpoke either.

Regardless, there's no point bashing this guy's car just because it's not a V8. It's a convertible and it's a Mustang, I don't think he's honestly concerned with smashing speed records, but having a fun ride in a good looking car with the top down, something you cant do in an Accord. I'm sorry, they're nice cars if you're looking to haul groceries or kids, but not something I'd want personally...

Now let's please not get this started into a 10 page car debate 😉 MERRY XMAS everyone! 🙂

WOW, I never thought I would see that BS Lexus commercial come to life. Did she know that you wanted that specific car?

LoL, I was in a hurry, could have just used the eraser but thought it would look better with the color fill.

That's the same damn thing I thought as soon as I saw the title of this thread!

I mean, come on, how many wives actually buy their husband a Lexis that he doesn't end up paying for? 😉

Take a look at My new car!

Well, not exactly new but a 2000 with 20,000 miles. She didnt exactly buy it for me either but she let me cash out enough to buy it while we were refinancing the mortgage which was kinda like a present too, went from 30yr to 20yr dropped 1% point (@5.5 now) and got cash out and lower monthlys 😀

Paid $10,000 C.O.D. its paid for! its got leather, power seats/windows, cruise, A.C., C.D., alloys, abs, srsx2 and a 3.8 v6 with auto which suits me fine being a slacker, I'll let the car shift for me 😀

So it's not exactly new

So wasn't exactly bought by her

So is she exactly your wife or just the lady on the sales floor?

🙂

Why bother getting a Mustang if you get a V6?
A car is a car. I don't understand everyone's need for more power. You can legaly only go so fast. It's the looks of a car that I go for, not what is under the hood. As long as the damn thing runs, that's good to me.
