My wife wants to start a blog and I don't.

Some back story is, I have never had an online journal, and I have absolutely no desire to start now. I see them as something that takes time, ties you to a keyboard, causes grief, makes a mess, and makes it look like you need constant attention.

My wife has now decided she needs a blog (I think it is because our kids are growing up and do not need her attention as much as they used to). She is now not speaking to me because I said in no uncertain terms that I do not want her blogging in the house.

As much as she says she will write in the blog, I know that I would end up with some of the work, and it would obviously impact our lives, and I just don't want to go there.

Am I being unreasonable?

edit: (not a real parody - just a question in the form of one.)

My Administrator wants me to ban all those who start lame parody threads. Am I being unreasonable?

I agree that this is terrible, but this forum is getting stale today.

BTW, this isn't really a parody, but a real question, in the guise of one.

Nice try, but needs more originality. 😉

My good parodies get deleted completely, so this one doesn't have that much originality since it's not just a parody

I remembers by "Sick of manwhores in the gym" parody. That got over 50 "11/10" replies and many, many chuckles- only to be silently removed from the forum.

I assume the mods deemed it so great, they moved it to their private forum so that they alone could bask in its parody-ness.

Uh, let your wife have one, you don't have to start one, too. I don't see the problem. 😕

You might as well say "My wife wants to wash the dishes - I don't".
So let her wash the fvcking dishes. Her washing the dishes does not imply you washing the dishes.

Don't pretend it's a real question, it's WAY too stupid for it to be a real question, even on ATOT.
