Well the wife must have heard my interest in a xbox360 awhile back because she got me the premium version for my burfday 😀

Are there any must haves for the system? I haven't had a chance to hook it up yet to my tv. Is there a cable that provides digital out sound so I can hook it up to my receiver?

BTW Holy moly the power brick is freaking huge!
 
Yea , the power brick is bigger than anything I've seen before! It looks like a darned power strip almost...must have would be Dead Rising.....
 
I don't have a 360 but I believe there's an optional optical cable you can get to output digital surround sound to a receiver.
 
The cable that comes with the system has an optical audio out jack. It is on the back of the gray part that plugs into the system.
 
Dead Rising and Chromehounds seem to be major must haves for the system. The Pingpong game from Rockstar I hear is really good as well.

if it covers it use that one..

Good question. I'm headed over there today after work. I'll find out from them. I'm sure it'll be stated in the warranty book too cause I'm not gonna take just their word for it 🙂
 
Well I ordered the Nyko intercooler and Burnout Revenge. Now I just need to wait for some of the other games to drop in price 🙂

To be honest, I'm really not into racing games too much. I just remember playing an earlier version of burnout on my xbox and I loved the crashing part! Kept me busy for hours on end. 🙂

Ohhh...I get it! See, she buys yu the cool system which means you'll be hunkered down in front of that thing for eight hours a day and she'll have time to slip out out to have "drinks with the girls."

It's a shame they couldn't have designed it properly with all the time they had.
That said, I remember the exact same sort of thing for the PS1 9-10 years ago.
