On about a 25 x 25 ft area. Hope she plans on watering all day long for awhile.

With that much weed and feed, I think she may as well have poured grass killer over the lawn.

Then she came in and said she probably screwed up cause she read the package....

And my response was, and if you listened to me, you would have heard the same thing... I don't tell you this stuff just to be an a$$hole..

Look on the bright side -- soon you won't have to worry about mowing the lawn!

why do women have to ignore what we say and do i themselves, I'm not trying to start a "stupid women!" bash here but seriously, we don't tell them how to do stuff with a car or in the yard cuse we think they're dumb we tell them so they know how to do it. when our dads or whoever told us we didn't feel like we were being talked down to, we were being taught how to do it. gg for self-riteous women

I was wrong, it's about a 80x80 area(25x25 was yards..). So effectively she doubled the application.

OK, it'll just die, it won't be barren forever.

If that was done on 25x25, nothing would grow on that soil again. I accidentally spilled some chemicals 5 or 6 years ago, and even after brushing it around as best as possible, nothing will grow on that spot.

Hmm.....heavy thatch next year...assuming any of it survives the present condition.

The lawn might not die, but she's just doomed all the aquatic wildlife in your immediate area. Hope you don't have little kids out playing and rolling around on that toxic mess.

Wife's tend to do that especially when you have to do the mowing duties ;)

Sounds like something my hard headed wife would do. She will act before asking and sometimes the results are less than desirable. *sigh*

Well, she should certainly have a healthy big bush. Tell her to make sure she keeps it trimmed, a big tacky buish is not at all attractive.... ;)

no good will come of this.. you will either have no grass, or it will grow like a mofo and you'll have to mow it every few days.

If she just doubled the application you should be fine. Give lots of water for a couple weeks.

I think you are pretty lucky. No lawn to mow anymore and it's her fault. I take her out to someplace special if I was you.
