My wife just called and accussed me of cheating... she was right

She was doing laundry and saw some red stuff on my shirt. Man, how could I be so careless. A little background before you judge me. Six months ago I was laid off from my job in Huntsville, AL. Within 2 weeks I found a job in Nashville. Only it is too far to drive everyday. Luckily the employer is cool and I work from home except for 2 days a week. I stay overnight in Nashville one day a week.

I've had been doing it for about 3 months and started enjoying my time away from the wife and kids. Enjoying my freedom a little too much. I thought I was careful. I don't think I can give up the new found love of my life.

Last year I had a blood workup and my triglycerides were 645. They are supposed to be under 200. So my wife put me on a diet and made me excerise. I started slimming up and people starting noticing. Anyway I was always bored on my overnights. I had to get out of the hotel, thats where I got into trouble. I found this awesome Chinese buffet. Damn it is so good. They have at least 15 different dishes with lots of good seafood choices. Stupid me spilled some sweet and sour sauce on my shirt and I did not notice.

My wife saw it while doing laundry and questioned me. I broke down and admitted I was cheating on my diet. She was pissed, but I think we can work it out.

Heh. I sent an e-mail to a former co-worker of mine today, who I hadn't spoken to in about 5 months. One of the first things he told me in his reply was how much he missed the Chinese buffet near where we worked. :)

its an awesome buffet here. I ate there one day and thought I would pass out cause I ate too much. Usually at a buffet I have some restraint. But when you watch what you eat all week, it takes a toll on you man.

Yeah I'm trying to watch what I eat, and was basically able to block that place from my mind, but his e-mail, and now this thread are starting to take its toll on me. :eek:

Well my total cholesteral is under 200 and my triglycerides are down to 425. I will give up the buffet before I go on lipitor that is for sure.
