Yeah that's the truth. My wife is away this weekend so I got started on the built-in desk/bookshelf we've been talking about building in the study. I KNOW she's going to be pissed when she gets home because it's not going to be exactly the way she wanted it, even though I drew it all out on paper and explained the style to her twice. But screw it, I wanted to get started on it!

Just moved into a new place about 2 months ago. Stuff is everywhere since we're unpacking. My wife went to a movie tonight with her best friend. They are coming back here after (in about 30 minutes - I have to hurry) to look at our wedding photo proofs (got them today). I just cleaned straightened up the whole house (living room, dining room, kitchen) and I'm currently vacuuming. I'm going to finish up in about 15 minutes and then cook up some brownies for them.
