I just got a call from my sweetie -- she just discovered that we had already paid nearly $700 in taxes that I thought that we hadn't. Time to redo the budget, and to make her feel good tonight! 😉😀😀

She works at a bank and has an eye for these kind of things. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to paying property taxes, school taxes, etc. Luckily she knows how to handle stuff like that. My wife's a smart cookie... 🙂

BTW, where's the cookie emoticon?

She works at a bank and has an eye for these kind of things. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to paying property taxes, school taxes, etc. Luckily she knows how to handle stuff like that. My wife's a smart cookie... 🙂

No, she DID know that. I didn't. We're new homeowners and I was fretting over the taxes that I was going to have to pay, when she explained to me that they're included in the mortgage. D'oh! 😱
