My wife is amazing...

No pics - they've been posted before though 😉

My wife decided 3 months ago that she wanted to run the Atlanta Turkey Trot half marathon (13.1 miles for the dolts) with her sister. Now, she'd never done any running before even though she's in excellent shape. So she basically went from zero to half-marathon in just three months. She even managed to beat her goal of 2:30!

Not bad for a woman with three young children and barely any time to train at all. :cookie: for her!

That's like my wife..

She wakes up at 4am to run every morning before work..

I can't do that..
I won't do that..

Um, a woman with three young children is probably in as good shape as a semi-professional athlete. 🙂

Still, props to her.

or not. it can really go either way

I ran a full marathon a little over a year ago, most painful thing I ever did. Think I'm gonna stick with half marathons for a while.

If your wife is interested in doing more half marathons, theres a cool site she might want to check out. http://www.halftorun.com

A big achievement. You won't find me running any distances for the hell of it 😛. I can run and play Rugby, Football but long distance bores me 😛

And I bet she comes back sweaty and out of breath too... Have any neighbors? 🙂

My wife and I ran that this year. This was my sixth time and my wife's second. Two women from work also did it this year for their first half marathon as well.

Kudos to your wife, it's a great race to do....Now she can get a good number for the Peachtree Road race next year!

 to your wife.

I run 3 miles about 2 to 3 times a week, and I find about mile 2.7 to be pretty brutal. She must be a he-man and you must be her she-ra. 🙂

You know when women are sweaty and out of breath that is oh so hot...

Oh yeah, my wife cooks me half a dinner at least four times a week.

She never gives 50% on nagging me though.😉
