UGHHHHHHH

I thought you meant pics of the wife. I don't care about twisted up cars.

(Obligitory "That'll buff right out.")

Did the airbags go off?

That's the same car my wife has, just a different color.

No, they didnt. Something about not hitting the bumper with the right amount of force....or something like that...I dont know jack squad about cars.lol

Have you had good luck with it? My wife's car has a little over 135k and no mechanical problems.....till now lol. Before she got this one, she had an Hyundai accent. No problems with that one either. I think that one had around 135k-145k miles on it before we sold it to get this one. Needless to say, the next vehicle will be a hyundai.

Dont know if you noticed on this pic http://i12.photobucket.com/alb...an/frontdriverside.jpg the blue car in the background belongs to my mother in law. Also a hyundai (accent).

Send your wife over my way. There are a rediculous amount of deer around our house. I'd estimate that I see at least one in our yard or crossing the street/driveway every 2 days.

I'm glad your wife is ok. That's the important thing.

(not making a joke...just saying that some deer-related accidents cause drivers to lose control, etc...)

Glad your wife is ok, and tell her not to worry about the fawn. In all likelihood it will be 'adopted' by another doe before you have a check from your insurance adjuster. Deer are very adaptable like that, since they often fall victims to assorted predators such as wolves, coyotes, and Hyundais. ;)

I used to think you'd have to be a pretty bad driver to hit a deer. That was until one sprinted from a wooded area 5 ft from the road right in front of my car. I slammed on the brakes and didn't hit it, but you really all just luck when driving 50+ in a wooded area.

Glad your wife is ok. I am concerned that the bags didnt deploy. Technically it should have with that much damage. Ive seen bags deployed for less damage than that. And, take my advice, if you fix the car have the bags replaced. Hopefully they will claim it as totalled and you get a check and a new car. I say this because I have a friend who had a simular accident, bags didnt deploy, car was fixed but the bags were not checked, one day he was driving across the Manhattan bridge, hit a pothole and the bags deployed. Could have been real bad if there was a lot of traffic, but luckily he managed to slam the brakes and no other car was near.

Yea, that's what I came here for...

Pics of wife would be a plus, but I'd be content with pics of the deer. Lol

My cousin was driving my dad's truck once and said a deer ran into the side of his car while he was sitting at a gas station

No idea what actually happened, probably flung the door open and hit a pipe or something.

I'd guess maybe 30-40mph. Deer do a fair amount of damage, and they're stupid as hell. "Oh no! Two big bright things are coming! I'm certain I'll be safer on the other side of this long rock. But I'd better wait until they're really really close to cross."

There are ALOT of deere around here as well. They need to make the hunting season (I dont hunt) longer or something. I have hit 4 deere in the past 7yrs. I have a truck though, so no damage from hitting them.
