My wife hates my new X-Box....help

I could not resist the X-Box deal at Target with the 2 games + MS controller and the free Madkatz controller.

#1, she wanted me to wait till Christmas so she could get it, that problem was solved easily. I told her there would be lots more stuff to buy for it come Christmas time.

#2 She doesnt like any of the games I got, she tends to lean more towards the arcade type games. She liked Mario and stuff on our original NES, and she liked the arcade games for the DC we have, Ms Pacman, Frogger, Tetris and Qbert.....stuff like.

Are there any X-Box games you guys think she might be able to enjoy? Suggestions are welcome.
 
Get Oddworld: Munch's Oddysey. I haven't played it, but it is about the only game along the lines of "mario" out for the XBox at that moment. That, and Blinx which I heard wasn't that great.

Besides, Oddworld has been out a while so you should be able to get it for pretty cheap.

Either way man, hack it. $50 gets u a modchip that allows for progressive scan dvd, you can get a program to setup an FTP server on the Xbox so you can transfer games and movies to it to watch, as said before you can also get emulators for it... Very very cool.

They have a new one called Domestic Violence. But, I don't think it's on XBox yet.
 
Return it and let her get it for you. That will make her happy. Don't try to reason your way out of it. We're talking about an upset woman... reason means nothing to her.

Belive me, losing out on this "hot deal" will cost far less then it will to make her happy again if you keep it.

No way! You wanted it, you bought it. Sure she may be upset for a little while, but she is your wife, and is supposed to be with you for the long haul.

Just buy her some flowers or something, she'll forgive ya! 😀

She doesnt play any PC games, since she doesnt like to play on her laptop is from her work and she is afraid to load any "stuff" on it, and I rarely let her near the main computer in our house since she has a gift for downloading nearly every virus known to Norton.

I'm glad there are at least a few games we can get her for the X-Box, might break out the the Rayman we have for the DC, if she likes that we can get the newer X-Box version.


I saw the Tetris Worlds, looks like the same old Tetris with new backgrounds.
Crash Bandicoot and Pac Man World look promising.
