I never understood the appeal, but my brother-in-law's mother got super excited and put an order in for the first Woodie PT Cruiser in the state when they came out just over a decade ago. Of course it turned out to be a POS and died on her a few years later but she was so proud of that thing.

They made the Grand Wagoneer up until the late 80s early 90s right? Man, those were some of the worst vehicles on the planet. Plagued by electrical gremlins and other issues. I used to work in the rental car industry and Jeep customers were some of my regulars.

Too bad. I love the styling of the old Grand Wagoneer. Maybe I should get one and put a Hell cat drivetrain in it LOL.

My mom had one of those... the damn thing caught fire because of an electrical problem :)

To be fair, cars in general across the board were shitty quality back then.
