I'm actually pretty excited about it. The whole homestead.com world is down.
For all I know I got an email saying it'd be down for maintainence and I haven't read it yet. 🙂
I kind of feel strangely cheated in that I can't even bitch because they've been so awesome since day one.

I remember when homestead was completely free, and offered subdomains(?) with a free sitebuilder. I didn't know people bought hosting from them.
 
Cheap, reliable, retard-friendly, cheap, reliable, oh, and they're retard friendly.
I've hosted my personal website with them since 99. Initially they sucked because they were free. Once they started charging, the service excelled.
They've never given me cause one to move.
We've hosted our auction with 3 different companies. They've all sucked. I'm thinking our bills run about $600 a month to serve out the auction. You'd think you could some support.
