Anyone know of a way to keep your watch from stinking like all hell? And yes, I shower every day like a normal person. Forgot I had to mention sh!t like that here. I'm thinking I need to get a different band for this Fossil.

And I can't find any information on if my Surefire L2 is waterproof. Anyone have one and now if they are?

I knew that but I'm drunk. I have an excuse.

There is no excuse for being so nasty even your watch stinks..............

I think the problem isn't BO, it's moisture and possibly soap from handwashing getting between the band and your wrist causing bacterial growth. That's what my cheap $25 walmart watch does (metal band). Obviously, you have to find some way to prevent this or deal with it promptly when it happens. Of course, cheapo plastic watches that are as smooth and unadorned as possible have been, for the most part, odor free for me. They rinse very thoroughly when you wash your hands.

Would you take a deep whiff of the inside of your favorite shoe?

I would. My feet don't stink. That's because I rotate my shoes and don't wear the same pair everyday.

Yeah.....😕....it smells like leather..........

dont exercise or sweat with it on...

put baby powder on your wrist before you put your watch on...

Dont buy leather bands...

I have a leather band on my watch and it doesnt smell at all. I dont shower or sleep with the watch on, so maybe that makes a difference, but I do wear it all day long. Take the fugger off before you get in the shower you nincompoop.

I don't shower with it on, but I do sleep with it on. Maybe I'll change that. And it's is a thick velcro type band. What kind of band is the best to get for a watch?

My Fossil watch band was getting some gunk built up in the groves after 4 years of wearing it, so I took it to where I bought it to see if they'd clean it for me. They said they didn't clean watches, but suggested I use a toothbrush and some mild soap (like dishsoap) to clean off the band.

It's got the breakable band so you can add/remove links from it, so I just broke the band, laid it flat, and scrubbed it good with an old toothbrush and some Dawn. I rinsed the whole thing and let it dry, looks good as new.

Edit: ahh, I see you have a non metal band watch, so my suggestions may not work for you.
