MY VOODOO 3 FAILED!

I have had a VOODOO 3 2000 for a year now, and I have a good fan on it. I have abused it, but after buying a duron system (duron 600 + KT7), my video card died. I think that either something is wrong with the bios, or the card is shorting out.
A symtom is when I boot up. I notice that there are vertical lines all over the screen. They appear in the bios and every where. My voodoo is still under warranty (3 years). Does anyone know about problems with voodoo 3 2000 and the KT7? I have o'c the duron to 800+, but I didn't change the bus speed.

It should work with your setup. Looks like the card is done. Just return it and get a new one, then sell it saying its brand new, not even out of the box. Then go out and buy and Geforce2 MX. :)

Just a thought...

Good point Pocatello. I did not even think of that.

Lowbrassman, did you try a different video card? Or maybe try a different Montior with your v3.
