Is there a cheap(Read not buy a new vid card or breakout box) solution to this. All I want is a simple composite out.

Hmm, I've never heard of such a card.

You could of course always buy a new vi.. ohh wait, you said you didn't want to do that =) Well, at least I bumped it for ya.

Sestar, you may be able to find something that plugs between the monitor and the videocard, and takes that video signal, and then converts it to composite out. X10.com has something like that, it's called Big Picture or something... allows you to REMOTELY send the video signal from the computer to the receiver (included), that has RCA out. You lose the signal quality and pay around $80...

only way I know how to do it would be to buy a cheap dvd decorder. They have a TV out, usually, and loop through your video card.

Always smart to plan ahead when buying hardware.

You might be able to find an AGP or PCI TNT2 video card that has TV-out. I bought a TNT2 M64 card that has an RCA out jack, so they are out there.
