if anyone ain't playing UT lately, i will offer to take it off your hands. same with half-life (CS,etc.) and most basically any games. i never play any FPS games and would like to get some to play.

Ok, Ok, to be honest, I had half the ping he did, and guessing by the way he played, if our pings were equal I would have been fragged all over the place. :Q
which is normally the usual state of things in UT for me. 😉
 
Post pings fellas. I'd like to know how everyone's connection is. Also, post how many other people were in there with you.

I was averaging a ping of around 155, with 1 other person and some bots. Cable modem (road runner) connection. About the same with just the bots.

damn it what the hell am i doing wrong?

goto multiplayer and have tried all the connection options still no luck

Any ideas?

my connection always fails. i've tried both OPEN LOCATION and typing that in, and i've also tried opening the LAN options and then opening the location from there. it starts connecting and then fails after about five seconds or so. I'm using version 435.
 
I am willing to jump in, though I have an advantage as I am one switch away from the machine hosting the game, so my ping is around 30.

Great gaming until connection failure 🙂 Been a long time since I've played online, that 500+ ping makes for interesting game play. 🙂
 
I agree, it was fun until the disconnect came. I sucked on that map anyway 🙂 Two Face seems to be really good with the minigun...
 
Yeah... was fun... a little laggy at times but fun 😎

Rendus... I'm not good... just lagged so it's hard to hit me at times 😉
