So I plugged my USB drive to a machine I shouldn't have and my USB drive was infected. I brought it home and tried to clean it on my computer, which Kaspersky did successfully but now Windows doesn't let me open (explore) it?

Any ideas guys?

What is up with the text next to Kaspersky? Have you run some online scans to make sure your pc isn't hosed?

I'd also consider running HJT and post a log, or review it yourself for anything fishy.

As fas as your USB flash drive is concerned I would go to start > run > compmgmt.msc > disk management > delete the e: (pendrive) partition > create a new fat32 partition and format it

Thanks for the advice John but I have a few very important files (work & government related) on the USB drive so I cannot afford formating it :(

I ran Kaspersky on all my drives and it found Trojan.Win32.Tiny.e with the file name "foool.exe" and I deleted it.

I think my computer is clean but cant access the USB drive now :(

Tangential to this topic: I made a page explaining how to disable or restrict AutoPlay, which should arbitrarily shut down attacks from infected devices, although with some loss of convenience. http://www.mechbgon.com/build/autoplay.html for those interested.

Turkish, when you try to access the drive, what exact error message do you see, or what exactly happens? Just the "Open With" dialogue in your second picture? It won't let you open it with Explorer?
