He's been operating a breakfast place in Haverhill, MA for about a 12-13 years and he simply gave me a call. Help?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUT CORPORATION FRANCHISE.

Our current Area Developers have requested the rights to develop the majority of the smaller markets. The markets that they do not develop may be made available in the future. Until then, there are no franchise opportunities available in the United States.

Thank you for your interest in a Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation franchise. Please be advised that all inquiries must be directed to our franchise department in the Krispy Kreme corporate office in Winston-Salem, NC. We do not grant franchise rights or explore joint venture agreements without meeting potential franchisees in person. For additional information or to inquire about available markets, please call
1-800-4KRISPY.

For information about Krispy Kreme's expansion plans please visit "News Releases" found in the "Investor Relations" section of our website.

Why a Krispy Kreme? They've largely already saturated the market and are on a decline.

I had the impression that Krispy Kreme's business model was to be the leading donut sold in supermarkets, convenience stores... etc. The need stores to maintain a presence in the public eye and show people how fresh and greaat the donuts are, but i don't think they are all about competing directly with dunkin donuts.

Does anybody know? I would be interested in learning where they are heading.

They just opened up a store in the Vancouver area. Opening a few more in the province of British Columbia in a couple years.

Huge Krispy Kreme fan. I have heard that DD has better cake donuts, but I'm not a cake donut fan, really. It's said that Houston is a cake donut town, of course... I don't know.

Too bad no franchises are available... boo. But I guess they know their business better than I do.
